WWE determined the “best in the world” with World Cup tournament at the inaugural Crown Jewel premium live event in 2018. The company is bringing back the matchup next week on SmackDown.

The SmackDown World Cup will kickoff during the November 11, 2022, edition of the blue brand. Eight superstars will participate in the single elimination tournament. As of this writing, the names have not been revealed.

Plus, The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) will challenge the winners of the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship match between defending champions The Usos and The Brawling Brutes next week on SmackDown.
Shinsuke Nakamura will take on Santos Escobar of Legado Del Fantasma next week on SmackDown as well. Check out the card announced (so far) for the show below.
