The WWE locker room is full of talented Superstars who go out of their way to entertain fans. R-Truth is one such Superstar, who has seen a career resurgence over the past few years. The most-decorated WWE 24/7 Champion in history suffered an injury on NXT this week, and it seems his injury is worse than initially thought.

R-Truth squared off against Grayson Waller in the opening match of NXT this week. At one point during the match, Truth sent Waller out of the ring for a diving spot. Truth then delivered a dive, but he hit hard while landing on the mat.

Due to this, it was evident he suffered an injury. According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, R-Truth likely suffered a quad injury, which will put him on the shelf for a long time.

R-Truth was injured on the 11/1 NXT show doing a flip dive against Grayson Waller. He didn’t quite clear the top rope on the move and came down badly and his left leg was gone. This wasn’t confirmed at press time, but the belief was that he tore his quad, which is a very serious injury that could keep him out for a long time.

We certainly hope R-Truth doesn’t end up missing out on too much in-ring action. He might not appear on television as much anymore, but he is still a beloved fan favorite. Regardless, we wish him a speedy recovery and will keep you updated on his condition right here at Ringside News.
