Mike Bennett Blasts Kane For Opposing All-Age Drag Shows

WWE Hall of Famer Kane remains one of the most iconic pro wrestlers in the history of the business. As a WWE superstar who later became a mayor, he often gets attention for a lot of things. The Devil’s Favorite Demon was also blasted by Mike Bennett for his recent comments.

Kane is the Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee and is known to make a lot of inflammatory statements that truly tick off a large section of people. He did so again recently after making pledge to fight all-age drag shows.

Kane said, in part, that, “Over the past couple days, my office has been flooded with calls concerning all-ages drag shows. Let me be clear: I don’t care what consenting adults do, but leave kids out of it. As Mayor, I will do everything I can to ensure these events don’t happen on Knox County property.”

Naturally, a lot of people have called him out on this. This included Mike Bennett, who took to Twitter and blasted Kane for what he said and revealed how he took his kids to a LGBTQ Festival.

We took our 4 year old and 2 year old to a LGBTQ Festival here in the town I live in. There was a Drag Show. They had an absolute blast. They now refer to it as the Dragon Festival. My son will dress up w his sister in a Tutu and play with Monster Trucks. Let’s let kids be kids.

Kane revealed that WWE had no plans for him to turn green. He recently received a special honor from WWE for achieving a milestone. We’ll have to see if Kane will ever stop saying offensive remarks or not.
