Colt Cabana’s name keeps coming up, but now he has something to say. He’s not addressing his status with CM Punk, but Cabana divulged something interesting about whether he is scheduled for the upcoming ROH pay-per-view.

Despite missing most of 2022’s episodes of AEW television, Colt Cabana is possibly responsible for the post-All Out altercation between CM Punk and the Elite. Cabana has competed throughout it all on independent shows, occasionally for AEW in Germany, and at Ring of Honor, where he was apparently transferred.

Cabana spoke on Captain’s Corner about his time in Tony Khan’s ROH, including his final match at Death Before Dishonor in July.

“I was literally the first match. People were still filing in. It was exciting to do the match, but by the time I was able to watch the full pay-per-view, it was a full arena and I was like ‘Oh man.’ That shouldn’t be my first memory, because it was such a good match, and Anthony [Henry] is such a good wrestler. I think he’s a big star, and he’s going to be an even bigger star once ROH starts zooming up. I think Tony says he wants to get a weekly show going. I only know what has been announced, so I don’t know anything either.”

Since Cabana made the aforementioned remarks, AEW has changed, and as a former ROH Tag Team Champion, Cabana is a contender to face Chris Jericho on 2nd November 2022 on AEW Dynamite. However, Cabana was concentrating at the time of this performance on possibly securing further bookings in the UK, unwinding, and working ROH once more for Final Battle in December as he opened up during a recent live stream.

“At this time, I’m happy just hanging out with my dog Ripley, hanging in Chicago, and taking the random bits every now and then, including Ring of Honor December 10th. I don’t know if I’m specifically booked, but I presume so.”

Colt Cabana appears to give his all inside the ring. Are you awaited to watch the match? Let us know what you anticipate about the match. For further updates, stay tuned to Ringside News.
