The AEW All Out media scrum made headlines for all the wrong reasons after CM Punk went on a scathing rant on Colt Cabana, Hangman Page, and The Young Bucks. It opened up a can of worms and since then, AEW has not been the same at all. In fact, Punk might never wrestle again.

CM Punk was involved in a backstage brawl where he fought with The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega. As previously reported, AEW suspended everyone involved in the brawl. Ace Steel ended up being fired, while The Elite will be returning to AEW television very soon.

As for CM Punk, he is still recovering from his injury. While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Nick Hausman stated that he heard CM Punk’s close friends doubting that Punk will ever wrestle again – especially because he is not strapped for cash.

“Cash does not seem to be an issue for this guy. He’s got in-roads in Hollywood going on right now. Stephen Amell certainly shining him up with what they’re trying to do over on Heels right now. I have a lot of people that have known Punk that say to me ‘This guy’s never gonna wrestle again’.”

CM Punk is also expected to sue Tony Khan after the AEW All Out brawl. Punk also hasn’t heard from AEW since the backstage brawl. We’ll have to see if Punk’s pro wrestling career will be over or not.
