Adam Page remained one of the mainstays of AEW television, as he is one of the original talent signed to the company in 2019. He is clearly a fan-favorite thanks to his relatable character work. Unfortunately, he suffered a concussion recently and Tony Khan finally talked about it.

Adam Page wrestled Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship in the main event of a previous episode of Dynamite. It was an intense match, where Page had the early advantage.

Hangman Page suffered a stiff lariat from Jon Moxley, and he didn’t get up from the mat. The match was then ended, and they had to call an audible for the time they had left on TBS. It was later reported that Page suffered concussion.

While speaking to First Coast News on October 21, Tony Khan commented on Hangman’s injury and revealed that Adam Page is doing really well.

“He’s doing really well, I talked to him just in the past 24 hours, and also saw him not long after he was officially cleared and saw him after he came back, not long after we took him to the hospital and he got out. It was great to see him in good spirits that night. About 90 minutes after he got hurt, he was smiling and feeling pretty good.

That’s about as fortunate as we could be given that he got knocked out in the match. I thought the doctors and the referee handled it really well. That’s what you have to do in a big fight. If one of the fighters is hurt, you need a referee that is going to come in, do the right thing, and stop the fight. The doctors took care of him, got him out of there, I thought Jon handled it well in his interview. He was very classy after and once they safely got Hangman out of there, we saw going forward it’s going to be Jon Moxley vs. MJF

Adam Page himself provided an update on his condition as well. It remains to be seen when the Anxious Millenial Cowboy will make his return to AEW television.
