Shinsuke Nakamura made a name for himself in NJPW, where he was the King Of Strong Style and touted as one of the best pro wrestlers in the world. He would eventually sign with WWE and has had a decent career in the company so far. He is also set to face a pro wrestling legend soon.

Since Karl Anderson is the NEVER Openweight Champion, many fans wondered whether he would end up competing in NJPW as well. That is still up in the air for now.

However, it was recently announced that Shinsuke Nakamura will square off against The Great Muta at the NOAH The New Year show on January 1, 2023.

The match is a part of Muta’s ongoing retirement tour that will also see him team with AEW star Sting. We will have to wait and see how Nakamura will fare against Muta.
