AJ Styles is widely considered to be one of the best wrestlers in the world today. The Phenomenal One has taken on some of the biggest names in the industry. Styles is known for bringing out the best in his opponents as well.

AJ Styles recently appeared on Stacking Pennies for a new interview. Styles was asked to share his pick for wrestlers he’d like to wrestle in any arena of his choosing. The Phenomenal One brought up an interesting name.

“I’ve had so many guys that have been in the ring with, and it’s been so good. And what arena would that be in? It’s so tough. I mean, based on who he is, and one of the matches that I had with him in Madison Square Garden. There’s something about John Cena and I. We just mesh well, we’re completely the opposite one hundred percent. But I guess opposites attract and we were able to do unbelievable — I never had a bad match with him. Not one. So Cena is definitely up there on the list, but I could name a few others that would be up there as well.”

AJ Styles and John Cena are credited for putting together one of the greatest wrestling trilogies of all time to take place on WWE premium live events. Their fourth and final singles televised bout transpired during the February 27, 2018, edition of SmackDown. Watch the full match below:
