CM Punk has been radio silent ever since the infamous AEW All Out backstage brawl back in September that involved Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, and Ace Steel. Now after several weeks, Punk kind of broke his silence, but to promote.

Punk promoted on his Instagram Stories the release of Blade of the 47 Ronin on Netflix. The film was co-written by Punk’s wife, AJ Mendez. It was nothing more than the menu of the film on the streamer and Punk telling his followers to go watch the film. Good for him to help out his wife.

Punk is currently suspended due to his actions during the brawl. He is also recovering from a pec tear during his match against Jon Moxley for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship.

There is no timetable for a return. However, there are rumors that Punk’s contract will be bought out.

Ringside News will monitor the ongoing drama of CM Punk’s AEW status. Should be interesting.

Was it nice of Punk to help out his wife? Sound off in the comments!
