AEW is always game to plug their own numbers to flex however they can. It turns out that they have a new number to show off.

Tony Khan’s company is promoting 3.5 million viewers. That new stat is appearing during the MLB playoffs commercial blocks on TBS. Of course, this number comes with a bit of a gray area.

All Elite Wrestling is lucky to pull 1 million for a good episode of Dynamite. Dave Meltzer was quick to jump on Twitter and clarify exactly how AEW is able to flex 3.5 million viewers for any of their programs.

Yes, that includes people switching through. All shows are like that, Raw & SD would actually be tons more than that based on similar counting.

We’ll have to see how Tony Khan’s company tries to gain attention next time around. Obviously, they’re getting creative with their numbers, because 3.5 million viewers have never tuned in to watch an AEW product at the same time in the history of the company.

What’s your take on this stat from AEW? Sound off in the comments!
