FITE TV has been the home of many independent wrestling promotions for quite some time. The streaming platform recently reached a new agreement with several indie promotions and that means good news for indie wrestling fans.

According to Fightful Select, the new agreement would give FITE TV the right to live stream the events of multiple independent wrestling promotions, with the announcement to possibly be made sometime in November.

The landscape for several independent promotions could be changing. Fightful has learned that multiple prominent independent promotions have reached deals to air on FITE+ in an expanded deal. FITE has been a significant platform for promotions of all sizes for several years.

We haven’t learned whether or not there will be additional price points, packages, or details, as right now most events are available there 30 days after airing. It was largely implied to us that several indies would be joining as a live streaming option for one price point of the subscription. We’re told there will be multiple announcements in November.

We inquired with GCW about whether or not this is where they’re headed, but were given a comical non answer of “WWE is going to Fite+?”

The pro wrestling landscape will definitely change for the better with the new deal between FITE and indie wrestling. Keep reading Ringside News for more from the world of pro wrestling.
