Rey Mysterio Is Ready To Give Gunther A Fight For The IC Title

Rey Mysterio is an incredible performer between the ropes. His 20-year career on SmackDown has been nothing short of incredible. He continues to be a role model for everyone around him.

Rey joined the roster two weeks ago after he spoke with Triple H. Mysterio wanted to quit WWE as he had to fight his son in The Judgement Day, but a conversation helped him switch brands.

Mysterio was immediately put in a fatal-four-way number one contender match where he defeated Sheamus, Ricochet, and Solo Sikoa to become the challenger to Gunther’s Intercontinental Championship.

The fight continued as Imperium members continued to taunt Mysterio. Mysterio was challenged by Ludwig Kaiser of Imperium, and he lost to Rey Mysterio in a fight.

Rey challenges Gunther in two weeks for the Intercontinental Championship. It would be interesting to see how this story plays out in the end and if Rey will deliver on his promises.
