MJF worked hard to establish himself as one of the most controversial and talked about talents in a long time. The Salt Of The Earth is truly proficient when it comes to cutting a promo as well.

Following MJF’s scathing promo on AEW President Tony Khan a few months ago, MJF remained absent from AEW television. That all changed after MJF was revealed to be the Joker at AEW All Out and confronted CM Punk. MJF also got a massive pop upon his return.

MJF has clearly become a bigger star than he ever was, despite some significant issues with Tony Khan. This past week, he also had an intense promo battle with William Regal on Dynamite.

While speaking during the most recent episode of Jim Cornette’s Drive-Thru, Jim Cornette made it clear that he is concerned about Tony Khan meddling with MJF’s career in AEW.

“If I had confidence, as a professional and as a fan of his, if I had confidence that at some point they’re not gonna f**k MJF up with this bad booking or Tony’s stupid ideas, or Jericho’s advice, or somebody getting in the way of this guy, I would love this without reservation. It’s perfect,” Cornette declared. “But I’m just trepidatious, because if it’s just MJF doing things I’m fine. But if Tony or any of his stooges start meddling in this, I’m afraid for what might happen.”

We will have to wait and see whether MJF will end up winning the AEW World Title and becoming a babyface. He certainly has the microphone skills to sway fans in whichever direction he wishes after all.
