MJF has been touted as one of the greatest heels in the modern era of professional wrestling. Many have compared him to Roddy Piper, and there’s a good reason for that.

The advent of social media has been a double edged sword for many. While it helps fans become closer to their favorite stars easier than ever before, there is also rampant toxicity within social media.

The pro wrestling community is no different. While speaking to Brandon Walker on Rasslin‘, MJF trashed wrestling Twitter and called them huge out in a huge way.

My problem with ‘Wrestling Twitter is it’s not real life. You guys will put people over on there that are garbage at f* wrestling. aren’t good at talking, are good at nothing.

But they post funny videos online and you’re like ”That’s the guy! Someone sign him.” It’s stupid. Then there’s the other flipside, ”You need to be watching NJPW, CMLL because this guy.” You guys are watching clips and being like ”This guy’s one of the top 10 wrestlers in the world.” They are not.

We will have to wait and see whether MJF will end up winning the AEW World Title or not. Till then, fans will just have to wait when it comes to MJF’s future in the company.
