Adam Page is a former AEW World Champion, and he is still one of the more popular members of the roster. That being said, he’s never been one to talk a crowd into a building with his promo work.

Jim Cornette holds years of experience under his belt. The legendary sports enthusiast had some words to talk about the latest challenger for the AEW Championship, Adam Page.

Adam Page is an AEW Original, as he has been with the company since its inception. While he had to work hard to make himself stand out against big names like Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega, Jim Cornette doesn’t seem impressed. Speaking on the latest Jim Cornette Experience podcast, he shared his thoughts.

Adam Page has – he said all the words here, but he has zilch in the way of promo charisma, where he doesn’t make you think that it’s him talking, he’s reciting sh*t. He doesn’t put inflection or emphasis into a lot of it, it’s just his same blank stare and monotonic voice. Except when he flips out every once in a while and as he did here.

I don’t know what to think about this, I mean I guess if you already liked Adam Page you thought, ‘Wow boy, what a promo’ but like most people, since they don’t already like him they thought, ‘What the f*ck is with this f*cking guy?’ He acts like a nerd trying to be a cowboy.

Jim Cornette has a reputation of criticizing products across the wrestling business. He has a viewpoint on things around him, but one has to see if they are really worth the time and the value that he states.

Cornette is always talking about the current AEW product and storylines. He has a different view on the things that happen in the wrestling world, one that came from an old school mentality. One may or may not agree with his points.

Whether Adam Page puts Cornette’s comments to rest with his performance on the October 18th special edition of AEW Dynamite or not is something we will have to see. If anything, we know that Cornette will probably be watching in case Hangman shows improvement.

What do you think of this burial from Jim Cornette? Chime in.
