Karrion Kross showcased his talent in WWE NXT, where he had a lot of success. He joined the main roster a while ago, thanks to Triple H. This resulted in him wrestling in a strap match against Drew McIntyre at WWE Extreme Rules. Following his victory over McIntyre, he gave an interview in which he was candid about his return to the company.

Kross joined David Shoemaker on The Ringer Wrestling show and spoke about his wrestling philosophy. He also touched on the topic of his hair. He explained that he had landed a role that required him to grow his hair out.

I had gotten a role to do a film. For the character that they wanted me to play, they asked me if I can grow my hair on them. Like, well, if you’re paying me, yes, I will grow my hair out and then the film kept getting pushed back and back. I was like, you know what? It might not even happen, but I kind of like having my hair. Again, it was kind of unexpected. It’s a lot of maintenance that I don’t really care for, but it’s kind of nice to have it. I haven’t had a full head of hair maybe in 10 years, maybe 6 or 8, maybe I’m exaggerating, but it feels like it’s been a lifetime.

In the same conversation, Kross talked about being ridiculed for his mask when he first appeared. “I came out with the mask, there were people laughing in the audience. They were laughing. I always remembered getting into this business and thinking to myself, ‘When this is all said and done, I want to leave this place a better place than it was before I came in,” he said.

Kross and his wife, Scarlett Bordeaux, were released from NXT last year following a long period of being directionless. Their return to the company has already piqued the interest of fans, and they want to see more of them. We’ll have to wait and see how they’re booked in the future.
