Huge Spoiler On WWE’s Plan For Extreme Rules Return

ORIGINAL: WWE Extreme Rules went down in Philly tonight, and a lot went down during the show. Bray Wyatt’s White Rabbit teasers led to his WWE return. As Ringside News exclusively reported, WWE wants to make sure everything goes off well. Now, this is a huge spoiler warning.

Sean Sapp reported behind Fightful’s paywall that WWE has big plans for Bray Wyatt’s return. There was reportedly a pitch for a run-in following the main event match.

One pitch that we’ve heard involved a run in after the conclusion of the night’s main event. We asked directly if it was Bray Wyatt, and weren’t given a confirmation or a denial. In past weeks, Fightful was told that some kind of reveal would take place at Extreme Rules. For good measure, we also asked about Brock Lesnar, who one media member said they heard was going to be at the venue, however, nobody we’d talked to said they’d heard of him being at the venue. 

Only time will tell how everything pans out. Odds are, Bray Wyatt’s return will spark a huge reaction within the WWE fan base.

The White Rabbit teasers kept close to the vest, and in the minds of higher-ups. The normal creative team was not involved with this build-up, but it was masterfully done. Hopefully, it all turns out when it airs.
