Jim Ross is a veteran in the pro wrestling world, as he made a name for himself as a commentator in WWE. He has delivered some of the most iconic moments in the history of pro wrestling.

Being a veteran, Jim Ross is well aware of how the pro wrestling world functions and how certain things in AEW can be perceived. This includes some controversial takes as well.

While speaking on Grilling Jr, the WWE Hall of Famer gave huge props to AEW President Tony Khan for the diversity in AEW’s women’s division, especially when it comes to body types.

“The great thing I like about Tony Khan’s booking is that different body types get different opportunities. They are fair and they are all there. But he’s open-minded to that. We don’t have divas, we have lady wrestlers and I love that. They have varied body types. Back in the day with Sable, the wrestling business when they talked about women they were used to seeing — talking about Moolah, Mae Young, and all these legends, and certainly, nobody ever saw anyone quite like Sable.”

We will have to wait and see whether AEW will be able to carry on with their momentum in the coming weeks or not. We have to wonder how these comments will land with some people.
