Cody Rhodes was the arguably the hottest free agent when he left WWE. The American Nightmare played his cards right and ended being one of the founding fathers of All Elite Wrestling. Now he’s reminding people of his contributions to the promotion.

Cody Rhodes took to Instagram Stories on Wednesday and posted a message for fans to see. Rhodes didn’t name anyone but the message clearly implied that he had enough of people taking credit for AEW as well as undermining his place in the wrestling industry.

YOU’RE CLEARLY DOING SOMETHING RIGHT WHEN OTHERS TRY TO IMITATE OR EVEN TAKE CREDIT FOR THINGS YOU’VE CREATED…DON’T TAKE IT PERSONALLY …FANS REMEMER AND THAT’S WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT. KEEP DOING THE WORK.

The post comes a day after Chris Jericho claimed no one knew Cody Rhodes until AEW arrived on the scene. Cody Rhodes is currently recuperating from the nasty injury he sustained during workout session before Hell in a Cell. Keep reading Ringside News for more.
