Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt faced each other in a 2019 Hell in Cell match. Fans had a lot of expectations from the match, but it was all for nothing in the end. Rollins also mentioned how the finish of the match was not his call.

The match remains one of the most-hated matches in recent memory, as the ending simply made no sense whatsoever. A Hell in a Cell match ending in disqualification simply baffled fans.

However, both of them were genuinely top stars in WWE for a long time. While speaking to Ariel Helwani of BT Sport, Seth Rollins stated that the controversial ending was not his call at all.

“I could have moved on to something else and he could have had his run as champion. But that wasn’t the case and we played the hand we we dealt, and that was not our call. I know he would tell you the same thing, that did not go the way we wanted it to. We tried, and we tried, and we tried, and the boss at the time would not budge. Like I said before, it is not our sandbox, you know? We are actors on a stage sometimes and we read the lines.”

We will have to wait and see if Wyatt will ever square off against Seth Rollins in the future. Fans would love to see them duke it out in a proper match this time around.
