Adam Cole is certainly one of the most skilled in-ring competitors in the pro wrestling world right now. He left NXT last year and made his way to AEW, which certainly made fans happy. After an injury hiatus, Cole’s return now remains unpredictable.

Cole competed in a fatal four-way match for the IWGP World Heavyweight title at Forbidden Door, despite being injured before the match. The match led to him suffering a concussion as well, and he hasn’t returned to in-ring competition yet.

The accomplished star returned on AEW Dynamite last month and got a bit physical as well, but he has been absent since then. While speaking on the Keepin’ it 100 podcast, Disco Inferno accused AEW of not reporting concussions.

Unreported concussions too, by the way, there’s gotta be… because these guys are constantly, you’re watching these matches and I am not just like, there is no way… we know how little it takes some time to get your bell rung.

These guys are kicking each other in the head constantly and I know they are pulling it, you’re not trying to kick the guy like really hard, but I mean you can’t really pull it enough to have it never ring your bell… and nobody’s putting their hands up to protect themselves on the kicks, so it’s like, there has to be a lot of getting your bell rung.”

With Bobby Fish no longer in AEW, we will have to wait and see what AEW will have planned for Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly next. For the time being, things don’t look all that good for them.
