RVD is certainly one of the most technically-gifted pro wrestlers to have ever laced up a pair of wrestling boots. The icon has competed in several promotions such as ECW, WCW, WWE, and IMPACT Wrestling during his career which has lasted over three decades.

The Whole F’n Show became a fan of the pro wrestling world in the 80s and realized he wanted to do it all his life. In fact, RVD was also instructed during the early days of his career to say that he was actually related to Jean-Claude Van Damme.

He told a fan that his signature airbrushed singlet was almost nixed by the company when he joined in 2001. He later retweeted a picture of himself wearing a much plainer black singlet.

“This was one of the first things WWE tried to change about me.

This was what they wanted me to wear. I kept it for non televised house shows”

Rob Van Dam was also inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame last year and also gave Vince McMahon a bunch of rolling papers as gift, which McMahon found very funny. We’ll have to see if he will return to WWE or not.
