Bobby Fish joined AEW and the Undisputed Era was practically completed except for Roderick Strong, who is still in NXT. It didn’t take very long for Fish to swim away, but then a rumor bubbled to the surface after that.

Bobby Fish showed up in Impact Wrestling, but he’s not under contract. Fans might expect his WWE return, but that doesn’t seem to be in the cards right now.

A rumor hit Twitter that said Bobby Fish tried to convince Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly to leave AEW. Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that this story is a pure fabrication.

A popular DARK TWITTER internet rumor was that before Bobby Fish had asked Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly to leave All Elite Wrestling with him to go back to WWE. That was vehemently denied by numerous AEW sources, and WWE sources have stated that there haven’t been talks between Bobby Fish and the company.

It seems that Bobby Fish didn’t try to get his Undisputed Era brothers to jump ship. In fact, WWE hasn’t even contacted Fish about making a return in the first place. Only time will tell if that changes, but it seems that Bobby Fish’s name trended on social media for no reason.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
