Roman Reigns has been on war path WWE as the Undisputed Universal Champion since his return back in 2020. The Tribal Chief remains an imposing figure on Friday Night Smackdown.

For the past week or so, WWE had been hinting toward a feud between Roman Reigns and Logan Paul. This was after Reigns was on Paul’s Impaulsive podcast. The match was more or less confirmed on Smackdown last week.

Finally, they confirmed the bout for Saudi Arabia during a recent press conference. While speaking on Sunday Night’s Main Event, Dave Meltzer noted that the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed Bin Salman wants celebrity attraction fights to take place in Saudi Arabia. Logan Paul is actually considered a celebrity name as well.

“He’s a big deal in Saudi Arabia, he’s a big deal to the Saudi Arabian prince and that’s the whole thing of these shows.

“Nothing to do with (selling tickets). Tickets in Saudi Arabia mean nothing. It’s not even part of the game. Of course, TV numbers whatever. If he draws younger viewers, that’s good but it’s not a play for TV ratings.

“It is a play because the prince wants celebrity fights in Saudi Arabia to build the name in the media of Saudi Arabia and Logan Paul will get more of the type of press that Saudi Arabia is looking for than Kevin Owens or Seth Rollins.

“That’s what Saudi Arabia is there for. Saudi Arabia is for matches that the prince wants that will get press attention around the world for Saudi Arabia so this is a great match for that.”

Reigns will defend his titles at WWE Crown Jewel on November 5th. Till then, we will have to wait and see how the company will be booking their feud.
