AEW pay-per-views are a big deal for fans in the host city. Every AEW fan wants their town to hold a big event, but they only hold 4 pay-per-views a year. It seems that Revolution is coming to California.

Sean Sapp reported behind Fightful’s paywall that AEW has landed on San Francisco’s Cow Palace for their Revolution pay-per-view event. This will likely take place in February or March.

AEW tentatively has slated the Cow Palace in San Francisco, California for their pay-per-view special. The show usually happens in February or March, though we don’t have a date on it yet.

If this event goes down, it will be the first pro wrestling show at the Cow Palace since NJPW’s G1 Special there in 2019. WWE hasn’t held an event in that famous venue in 10 years, and they haven’t aired a television event there in 15 years.

We’ll have to see if they change their mind about this, because anything could derail plans. It seems that fans in San Francisco have a lot to get excited about.

What’s your take on AEW going West to for their first pay-per-view?

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
