Bobby Fish eventually made his way to AEW after he was let go by WWE as part of budget cuts last year. He teamed up with Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly for a while in AEW, but it was not meant to last forever.

Fish later left AEW after he wasn’t happy with how he was being booked at the promotion. He also recently eviscerated CM Punk. In fact, his beef with CM Punk happened for good reason.

While speaking to Joey G. from Wrestling Headlines, Bobby Fish discussed if he ever felt the validation from Tony Khan the same way he did when working for Triple H. Fish made it clear that was not the case.

“No, I felt like I had those instances for myself. Getting that look or that nod from anybody in the back? No. Nowhere near what I felt, the pride I felt working under Hunter.”

We will have to wait and see what is next in store for Bobby Fish. As for CM Punk, he will be out of action for a long time due to surgery.
