CM Punk is getting a lot of criticism from all four directions. Eric Bischoff thinks that Punk’s rant was very disrespectful towards Tony Khan. He also blasted the AEW superstar for being “brittle and bitter.”

Becky Bayless thinks that Punk doesn’t deserve all the negativity that he is getting after the AEW media scrum brawl. She took to Twitter and said that the Punk she knows “saves puppies and stands up for women’s rights.”

The CM Punk I know saves puppies and stands up for women’s rights. But that doesn’t sell newsletter subscriptions or get website hits, does it guys? Do better.”Bayless is not alone here. There are many people in the wrestling business who have had good things to say about Punk.

The former ROH/TNA star is not the only one who spoke to defend Punk. Many AEW stars such as FTR, Cash Wheeler, and Dax Harwood tried to put things into a different perspective, as the negative perception of Punk’s actions is all pervasive.

Bayless also replied to many other tweets which countered her initial take. AEW suspended Punk, The Young Bucks, Ace Steel, Kenny Omega, and many others who were involved in the brawl. However, those who intervened to stop it, including Brandon Cutler, are no longer suspended.
