Bron Breakker is the leader of the next generation of superstars on NXT 2.0. The two-time NXT Champion might be talented in the square circle and have a strong personality, but that’s also appealing to the fan base.

The September 13 episode of WWE NXT 2.0 celebrated the one-year anniversary of the rebranding under the new banner. Fans had the opportunity to vote for the Superstar of the Year, and Breakker won the poll, as announced during Tuesday’s episode.

Breakker debuted to challenge Tommasso Ciampa for the NXT Championship at Halloween Havoc in 2021 and quickly established himself as a buzzworthy prospect while he came up short, he cemented his status as a rising star. The second-generation star finally won the gold by beating Ciampa at NXT New Year’s Evil 2022.

Bron lost the title to Dolph Ziggler and regained it on the April 4 episode of WWE Raw. He has successfully retained the championship building his legacy as the face of the brand.

Breakker checks all the boxes to be a top main event star for the main roster of Raw and SmackDown. Wouldn’t be surprised if he will be called up within the next year.
