Madcap Moss was working in NXT for the majority of his career until he finally got called up to the main roster. Back then he was just known as Riddick Moss and did not really see much success there. Moss also credited Paul Heyman for his WWE main roster call up.

Moss was called up to Monday Night RAW in 2020, but didn’t do much there either. Following his return after a long hiatus, Moss was rebranded and partnered up with Happy Corbin. That eventually led to a feud between the two, which saw Moss winning multiple times.

While speaking on the Busted Open Radio, Madcap Moss claimed that Paul Heyman once told him that he resembled Steve Austin when it comes to running the ropes.

“He [Paul Heyman] said that to me. When he was running RAW, he said, ‘I’ve never seen anyone hit the ropes like that since Steve Austin’ and again, yeah, he did. He hit ‘em with reckless abandon and that’s who I try to emulate doing that.”

Madcap Moss also aspires to carry WWE like Batista. We will have to wait and see whether Moss will become a main eventer in the future or not. If anything, he certainly seems to have the WWE office behind him.
