Chris Jericho is truly a veteran in the pro wrestling business. Jericho has competed in various promotions all over the world in his career, which has spanned more than 30 years. That being said, he understands that every company needs to grow and learn along the way.

Chris Jericho also debuted in 2019 and was the first ever AEW World Champion, as he carried the company through the first year. He has remained one of the mainstays of the company since then.

It has always not been smooth sailing for AEW when it came to its growth. While speaking to Inside the Ropes, Chris Jericho talked about the good and bad aspects of AEW. He admitted AEW suffered growing pains over the years.

“We’ve been doing this for three years now and continuing to grow, and this is a big-time corporate business. We are run and paid for by a giant television corporation. So, there’s always gonna be growing pains when you start a company. I think we’ve done nine things right and maybe one thing wrong or two things wrong. So we learn from that and we continue to build our brand and continue to improve.”
