MJF returned to All Out in shocking fashion and won the Casino Ladder Match. The Salt of the Earth confronted CM Punk following his AEW World Championship win over Jon Moxley at the September 4th, 2022, pay-per-view event as well. It turns out that the Salt of the Earth also has a nice perk in his contract.

MJF returned to AEW programing because Tony Khan convinced him to do so. The Pinnacle mastermind cut a promo this past Wednesday on Dynamite where he revealed Tony Khan offered him more money to show up during All Out.

MJF took to Twitter on Friday and went out of his way to hype AEW Rampage ahead of the show on TNT. MJF revealed Tony Khan gave him a bonus for plugging the Friday show.

#AEWRampage on TNT starts now!

@TonyKhan just bonused me for this tweet.

AEW is planning for MJF to face Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship at Full Gear in November. The two did come face to face during Dynamite this past Wednesday. We’ll have to wait and see what’s next.
