Daniel Garcia was unsuccessful in his first attempt to win the ROH Pure Championship from Wheeler Yuta at Death Before Dishonor. He finally got the big win on AEW Dynamite this week.

Daniel Garcia took on Wheeler Yuta for the ROH Pure Championship in Garcia’s hometown of Buffalo, New York. The two young wrestlers put on a great performance in the main event of Dynamite this week.

Garcia finally got the win after he reversed Seatbelt cover into the Dragon Tamer, forcing Yuta to tap out. Garcia was congratulated by Bryan Danielson who came to the ring to shake his hand.

The new ROH Pure Champion cut a passionate promo after Dynamite went off the air. Garcia praised wrestlers in the back and asked the crowd inside the KeyBank Center to stay for Rampage tapings. You may check out the video thanks to Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net below.
