Kevin Owens worked hard to establish himself as one of the highlights of WWE television since debuting in NXT back in 2014. He has won numerous titles over the years, including the Universal Championship back in 2016. That being said, he’s also still friends with the Young Bucks, and he heard what CM Punk said about them last night after AEW All Out.

CM Punk has been the biggest topic of discussion since yesterday and there’s a good reason for that. During the post-AEW All Out media scrum, CM Punk went nuclear on Colt Cabana, Hangman Page, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks.

It was reported that Omega and the Bucks threatened to leave AEW over Punk’s words. Kevin Owens took to Twitter and seemingly took a shot at CM Punk by a photo of himself and Stone Cold in the main event of WrestleMania 38 Saturday in April.

CM Punk always wanted to main event WrestleMania, and Kevin Owens did it with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. It’s pretty evident that Owens’ career reached a height in WWE that Punk was unable to attain, and the Prizefighter wanted to make that very clear.

It is also worth noting that Colt Cabana liked this tweet. Obviously, Colt feels a certain way about CM Punk’s rant.

The belief is that it was a shot at Punk, as Punk’s goal while with WWE was to headline a WrestleMania event, but that never happened. It is also to be noted that Owens is close friends Matt & Nick Jackson and still keeps in contact with them. So, although Owens didn’t say anything explicit about Punk, the message was heard loud and clear.

In fact, CM Punk and The Young Bucks were involved in an altercation as well. There’s lot more to this story. We will keep you updated on this ongoing story right here at Ringside News.
