MJF worked hard to establish himself as one of the most controversial and talked about talents in a long time. The Salt Of The Earth is truly proficient when it comes to cutting a promo as well.

Following MJF’s scathing promo on AEW President Tony Khan a few months ago, MJF remained absent from AEW television. That all changed after MJF was revealed to be the Joker at AEW All Out and confronted CM Punk. MJF also got a massive pop upon his return.

While speaking during the post-AEW All Out media scrum, Chris Jericho revealed that MJF did not want to be a babyface once he returned to AEW, but Jericho added that MJF will become a proper babyface in the future.

I said to MJF when you come back you’re gonna be a babyface”, “I don’t wanna be a babyface” says MJF “It’s gonna happen”, “I don’t know what to do”, “i’m sure The Rock or Steve Austin said the same thing, you can do a babyface comeback it’s easy I’ll show you

It’s easy to make people hate you then it is to make people like you but once they start hating you that’s when they start liking you. I think he’ll be one of our top babyfaces, whether he likes it or not.”

MJF will be challenging CM Punk for the AEW World Championship in the future. We will have to wait and see whether MJF will end up defeating Punk for the title or not.
