Powerhouse Hobbs has been with All Elite Wrestling since 2019. The big man was paired with Ricky Starks but turned on him after Starks lost the FTW Championship to Hook during a previous episode of Dynamite. It appears that AEW has big plans for Hobbs.

Sean Sapp reported from behind Fightful’s paywall that Powerhouse Hobbs is in line for a push. For those not in the know, Powerhouse Hobbs has been wrestling squash matches ever since he turned solo following his betrayal of “Absolute” Ricky Starks.

Hobbs has previously said he plans on becoming AEW’s first black world champion. Hobbs and Starks will finally meet one-on-one inside the ring tonight at All Out. Keep reading Ringside News for more.
