Malakai Black was released from WWE, and it took him no time to arrive in AEW, thanks to a contract oversight on WWE’s part. Now rumors are swirling that Black is unhappy in Tony Khan’s company.

The former Aleister Black, who has always been incredibly cryptic, sent the rumor mill into a frenzy when word got out that he asked for his AEW release. That was soon squashed, and Ringside News confirmed that the rumor was all cap. Now, fans have a different reason to believe that something bad is brewing for Black.

The leader of the House of Black took to his official Tumblr page, and he dropped an incredibly cryptic post. He said something about “2 years of this,” which some fans believe is referring to his time in AEW.

2 years of this. Sometimes it feels like all of it will be to no end, nor have any real meaning when it’s all over and done. It’s strange to think certain things in your life will be a memory with no attachments anymore while they were once the most important thing in your life.

It truly feels like the entire journey happened for the sake of happening.

Only time will tell if Tony Khan can fix Malakai Black’s character. He could obviously use a tune-up, because even as the leader of a stable, Malakai Black has yet to resonate on a greater level in AEW. Triple H, the man running the show in WWE now, has a history of knowing exactly how to make Black look like a Superstar.

It should be noted that Malakai Black has years left on his AEW contract. Keep checking back with Ringside News, because we’ll be the first to tell you if anything changes.
