AEW has lot of things going on, and there is no shortage of opinions about how Tony Khan books his company. All the things that go into booking a huge event like All Out are obviously important for the head honcho of All Elite Wrestling.
Yahoo! Sports recently spoke to Tony Khan, where he dove into his mindset regarding booking. It is a delicate balancing act at all times, because there are many different entities that must be appeased when planning out an angle. This came about as TK was gushing over what excited him so much about the upcoming All Out pay-per-view.
“The goal is to strike a balance between having happy fans, good stories and a happy locker room. I think for the most part we do have that. I think the really exciting thing about All Out and this week for AEW is that we are approaching a full-strength roster again. It felt like last year we kicked off a season — it was a wild, tumultuous, one — but we had some of our greatest business heights. It has been challenging, but I do believe this will wind up being one of our greatest pay-per-views.”
AEW has a loaded card for All Out, and some might say they booked too many matches. We’ll have to see how everything pans out, but those Chicago pay-per-view events can stretch into the early morning hours thanks to the Windy City’s Central Time Zone location.
