Bobby Fish shocked the pro wrestling world when he joined AEW. This came after a time when the Undisputed Era wrapped up their days in NXT, and there was a lot of doubt about how Vince McMahon would treat the foursome. Now, Fish’s time in Tony Khan’s company is already over.

It was previously reported that Bobby Fish was wrapping up his time in AEW. It turns out that fans really won’t get to see that reDRagon vs Young Bucks match like the company teased on multiple occasions.

PW Insider reports that Fish is done with AEW. He is now officially a free agent once again.

AEW sources confirmed that Bobby Fish’s contract officially expired on 8/31 and he is now a free agent.

As of this writing, it’s unclear where Bobby Fish will go next. He was not thrilled with his booking in AEW prior to his departure. Triple H gaining control of WWE’s creative direction could also open up a huge door for the former NXT Tag Team Champion to possible give WWE another look.
