Triple H was given the role as the top person in charge of WWE Creative after Vince McMahon’s retirement. WWE fans have clamored for him to become the head for many years, which is why they were elated it happened.

WWE is always thinking ahead when it comes to their Premium Live Events. This is especially true when it comes to the major events, such as the Royal Rumble.

According to Brad Shepard on Unleashed paywall, next year’s Royal Rumble event will be taking place on the weekend of January 28th and 29th, which is just days before the Super Bowl, which goes down on February 12th, 2023.


Conventional wisdom may lead you to believe the Royal Rumble would be held the week before the Super Bowl, but that is not the case for 2023.
A WWE source has confirmed with me that the company is holding the event in 2023 on the weekend of January 28th/29th (the Super Bowl is 2/12).

The Royal Rumble event will bring forth a lot of surprises and changes, with Cody Rhodes likely returning to the show as well. We’ll have to see what WWE will have planned for the event next year.
