Liv Morgan won the Money In The Bank match and then cashed it in on Ronda Rousey on the same night. She finally achieved her dreams and became the Smackdown Women’s Champion. WWE was blasted for her booking since she became a champion.

Morgan defended her title against Ronda Rousey at the WWE SummerSlam Premium Live Event. Unfortunately, the match turned out to be a very short affair. It also ended in controversy.

Since then, Morgan has been feuding with Shayna Baszler. However, she has largely been seen as the weaker of the two. This includes Baszler bruising Liv Morgan.

While speaking on the latest episode of his Wrestling With Freddie podcast, former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. criticized WWE for booking Liv Morgan as a weak champion.

“I don’t know whose fault this is,” he began. “Hear me out on this. I’ve never seen someone have to play a weak champion. Someone who tapped out to get the belt, but remains a babyface. Has to protect her arm, it’s almost not even playing injured, it’s like, scared and frail and weak. The stuff with Shayna made her look like a punk – and she’s the champion.

Don’t look scared. Look defiant. That should be the note, you know, when Shayna is like, ‘I’m gonna break your hand,’ she should be looking at her like, ‘Do it. Do it now and just get it over with and then we’ll see if you even get a match.’

[Show] something. Some kind of bravery, courage, something, because everything else has been weird. I’ve never seen a weak babyface champion.”

Morgan is also the favorite to win at WWE Clash at the Castle against Shayna Baszler. She has a ton of support even now, but we wonder if Morgan will win the match or not.
