Triple H was given the role as the top person in charge of WWE Creative after Vince McMahon’s retirement. WWE fans clamoured for this change for several years, so they were truly happy when it happened. John Morrison also commented on WWE’s changes.

The Game certainly knows what fans want and is already making huge changes to the product to make them happy. This includes bringing back talent previously who were let go by WWE, including Dexter Lumis, Hit Row, and Johnny Gargano.

While speaking to Steve Fall of NBC Sports Boston, John Morrison was asked about the likes of Dexter Lumis, Karrion Kross and others returning to WWE. Morrisson stated that he believes there has been a crazy shift in wrestling.

“There is a crazy shift going on right now in the wrestling world. I don’t know exactly what that means for me, but for pro wrestlers like me who are unsigned, it means opportunity. Where? I don’t know. When? I also don’t know. Sometimes, like with Kross and Dexter Lumis, the time was right and they made the right move and sometimes it’s better to wait, and sometimes it’s better to go to the other place. It just depends on who you are and what your style is. I’m figuring all that out. I think that’s what most pro wrestlers do, you spend your career trying to figure things out.”

Morrison also didn’t want to stay in WWE after the company fired his wife, Taya Valkyrie. Morrison has worked for multiple promotions since being released by WWE including AEW, GCW, AAA, and PROGRESS. He is set to compete at The Wrestling Showcase on September 3, so we’ll have to see how that goes.
