Huge Match Made Official For This Week’s NXT 2.0

Tyler Bate was crowned the inaugural NXT UK Champion in January 2017. Bate defeated Pete Dunne in the tournament finals in Blackpool England. He then won the title last month.

Tyler Bate appeared during the closing moments of NXT HeatWave, where he confronted NXT Champion Bron Breakker. This was to signal the beginning of their eventual match at NXT Worlds Collide next month.

WWE recently took to Twitter and officially announced that Tyler Bate will be squaring off against Von Wagner in a singles match. This will introduce the NXT audience to Bate as well.

More NXT UK stars are expected to show up on NXT 2.0 as the company is preparing to launch NXT Europe next month. Here is the updated lineup for NXT 2.0 this week:

Wendy Choo and Tiffany Stratton will meet in a Lights Out match.

Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen will defend the NXT UK Tag Team titles against Gallus.
