Kenny Omega’s in-ring skills made him one of the best pro wrestlers in the world. Omega has competed against the best of the best the pro wrestling world has to offer as well. He was also mocked for his recent promo.

Kenny Omega returned to in-ring action during Dynamite this past week. The former AEW World Champion participated in the Trios Tag Team Championship quarterfinals alongside The Young Bucks.

The Elite won the match after Omega flattened Dragon Lee with a vicious One-Winged Angel. After the show went off the air, Omega cut a passionate promo, where he said he and The Elite will give fans the best wrestling matches ever.

That’s fine because we’re gonna give you the greatest singles matches. We’re gonna give you guys the greatest hardcore matches, mixed matches, women’s matches, all different kinds of matches. It’s going to be a smorgasbord of wrestling. That was always the mission statement, and as long as The Elite are here, we will make sure that you guys get that variety every time we perform.”

While speaking on the Jim Cornette Experience podcast, Jim Cornette addressed Kenny Omega’s promo. He went on to mock Omega for his tall claims.

“He is going to change the f***ing way I throw up after dinner. Maybe he is going to send it to you by mental telepathy. These thwarts are convinced that they are hugely important. Vastly more important than they actually are. But the douchebaggery drips from them every time you hear them speak. And who are they trying to identify with here? Other douchebags with sing-song voices?”

The Trios tournament will conclude on September 4th at AEW All Out. We will have to wait and see whether Omega and The Bucks will be crowned the inaugural trios champions or not.
