The WWE SummerSlam Premium Live Event this year was the first event with Triple H in charge of Creative. It had a lot of changes in place that fans loved, especially with the returns of Bayley, Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky.

This year’s WWE SummerSlam took place in Nashville, TN, at Nissan Stadium and was truly a hugely successful event. The show generated a ton of buzz after it was headlined by the last man standing match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title.

WrestleVotes took to Twitter and reported that Nashville, TN is the current frontrunner to host next year’s SummerSlam event.

“Source states WWE was beyond thrilled with how Nashville turned out as the host city for SummerSlam a few weeks back. The city is on the short list to host the event again next year. Decision expected early ‘23.”

WWE is already changing its strategy when it comes to the big Premium Live Events, as they will just take place in the city that pays the most money. We’ll have to see whether Nashville will be the home to SummerSlam next year or not.
