After Ric Flair’s final match, there have been discussions about other retired former wrestlers potentially coming back to wrestle one last time. One name who’s been out of the business for quite some time is former WCW star DDP. While some would be excited to see DDP wrestle again, it doesn’t appear to be something he’s willing to do.

During the latest edition of the “DDP Snake Pit” podcast, DDP got to speak about Flair’s final outing. When the discussion turned to him getting back into the ring, DDP quickly shot the idea down. He even revealed that Conrad Thompson approached him about having an entire event built around his return.

It’s nothing I’ll ever do. Conrad was like ‘You know DDP, you’d be perfect to do one of these,’ I was like ‘Nah bro, I’m good. I had my last match, it’s never going to be better than that.’ I was lucky enough to have all my boys around me and it was fun. I’m good with that.

There was a lot of concern regarding Flair’s health following his final match. Many fans and wrestlers weren’t thrilled with the legendary star faking heart attack and other spots he performed during the match. Flair made it through the bout okay, but ended up in a bloodied mess.

While DDP refused to wrestle, he appeared at the event anyway. The former WCW star nailed Matt Cardona with a Diamond Cutter, much to the joy of the crowd in attendance. We’ll have to see if DDP has one last legit match or not.
