William Regal’s contributions to the pro wrestling world are something no one can deny. Regal is heralded as one of the greatest minds in pro wrestling and it is not hard to see why.

After his WWE release earlier this year, William Regal made his debut in AEW during the AEW Revolution pay-per-view. Regal is now leading the Blackpool Combat Club along with Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta.

Former NXT UK referee Artemis spoke out a few weeks ago about how she believed that the pay in NXT UK was not where it should be. While speaking on “Gentleman Villain,” William Regal stated that he believes the NXT UK talent were paid fairly and treated well.

“They all got paid weekly wage. They all got the best training, they’re all better for being there, they’re all better for being there, they’ll all tell you that … I know there is myths out there about how “NXT UK” started … I’m telling you the truth … “NXT UK” was formed in the mind of Triple H 10 years ago.”

Regal will forever be grateful for his many years in WWE. Regal simply has a new goal in mind and will set about accomplishing it in AEW and that is what matters to him right now.
