Konosuke Takeshita won over AEW fans in recent months. He has competed in a series of terrific matches on AEW television, against the likes of Claudio Castagnoli and Jon Moxley. Now it’s time for his departure.

The young Japanese star saw a ton of success in Japan, winning multiple titles in various promotions before making his way to the US earlier this year. In the span of 4 months, Takeshita has competed in numerous promotions apart from AEW as well. He will now likely return to DDT-Pro after an impressive stint in All Elite Wrestling.

Konosuke Takeshita took to Twitter and announced that he has finally finished his tour of the US and had returned to Japan. He thanked fans and AEW for being so nice to him.

Today I am leaving America. I have so many great memories of the last 4 months. Thank you all for being so nice to me.
