Ric Flair Claps Back at Haters Claiming He’s Kissing Up To WWE

Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair has accomplished lot of things in his illustrious pro wrestling career. Flair remains a controversial figure thanks to his numerous escapades over the years.

Last year, Vice’s Dark Side of the Ring aired the second part of their third season that focused on The Plane Ride From Hell. Ric Flair was removed from WWE’s opening video package as his ‘woo’ was edited out.

However, WWE would bring back Ric Flair in the opening video package last month. In fact, he personally thanked Vince McMahon for adding him back. This didn’t sit well with some fans. While speaking on the To Be the Man podcast, Flair talked about how a fan asked why he was thanking a company he no longer works for.

“Somebody telling me, somebody with no social media telling me in my social media said, ‘why are you kissing WWE’s a** for putting you back up on the screen?’ And I said because I’m thankful they did. Who doesn’t want to be on the opening or RAW or SmackDown or the opening of a pay-per-view? What wrestler wouldn’t want that? And I would continue to kiss WWE’s a** because Ashley [Charlotte Flair] works there and because they’ve given me the life I would never have had.”

Ric Flair also had his last match last week and was very satisfied with the outcome. It remains to be seen what the future holds for The Nature Boy now that he has retired for good.
