Dexter Lumis jumped ship from Impact Wrestling to WWE and immediately made an impression in Triple H’s version of NXT. Lumis portrayed a silent, yet deadly, artistic character and received tons of praise for his character work. Vince McMahon might not have understood the silent serial killer gimmick, but Triple H sure does.

Lumis seemingly made his return to WWE on Raw this week. He was seen being stopped by security from trying to reach AJ Styles who had just won a No Disqualification Match against The Miz on RAW this week.

Styles also looked quite shocked and worried when he saw Lumis trying to get inside the ring from the crowd. The ringside commentary team also acknowledged Lumis’ presence outside the ring.

Lumis immediately reverted to Samuel Shaw after his release, and competed on the independent circuit few times. He also appeared at Starrcast where he had a special moment with Johnny Gargano during a Q&A.

Obviously, Triple H wanted to bring him back and reverse, yet another, Vince McMahon release. We’ll have to wait and see what’s next in store for Lumis.
