The WWE kicked off the new year in January with their inaugural Day 1 pay-per-view. Fans may remember that the event featured ‘The Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar capturing the WWE Championship after he was initially scheduled to challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship. While no matches have yet to be confirmed for next year’s event, there is one huge name that has already been advertised.

WWE has apparently begun local advertising 2023’s Day 1 pay-per-view in the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. In addition, they have used Lesnar as the main superstar for the advertisement.

The last time fans saw Lesnar was at SummerSlam when he lost to Reigns in a Last Man Standing match. Lesnar used a tractor to tip over the ring during the chaotic match. While The Beast appeared unstoppable, Reigns managed to prolong his two-year championship streak.

As for what the future holds for Lesnar, the jury is still out on that. WWE has promoted the match at SummerSlam as the last time the two men would face each other. Perhaps by the time Day 1 happens, Lesnar will be involved in a fresh feud.
